Born in the year of 1987 Rogério is natural from Curitiba (Paraná State). In 2012, under the orientation of Vana Zambelli Rogerio graduated in violing making in the Istituto Internazionale Antonio Stradivari in Cremona, Italy. In 2013 he graduated in the Superior Technical Course of Acoustic Harmonization of Bow Instruments, instructed by the renown luthiers Luca Primon, Gregg Alf, Andrea Ortona, among others.

Worked with the Mestro Gio Batta Morassi in his workshop, the main exponent of contemporary luthery in Cremona, and under the guidance of Simeone Morassi, perfected his technique in the art of violin making.

In 2013 was awarded with a silver medal on the 7o National Violin Making Competition promoted by the Associazione Nazionale Liuteria Artistica Italiana – ANLAI. In the period of 2006 – 2008 worked in the Luiz Amorim Luthery Studio, with restoration and maintenance of bow instruments.

Rogerio’s workshop is located in São Paulo City, where he devolopes constructions, restoration and acoustic harmonization of violins, violas and cellos. Following the models of Stradivari, Guarnieri and Amati, Fagundes expresses in his craft the classical marks of violin making from Cremona.
